We went there for a Bogo omakase at lunch time. It was our first omakase and we didnt know to expect. Chef Han and his wife were very friendly. Our group was split between going to NYC and national parks and chef Han, being from NY, helped us make the decision! The foods were so yummy. I wish there were some soup or appetizers or desert so the heavy eater can get somewhat full but for the price, it was a great deal. Highly recommend!
Highly recommend this omakase! The sushi chef and are both super friendly, personable and talented! Very skilled couple! We were served an 15 course sushi dinner and every bite was out of this world so we had to order some adds on from their menu! Their flavor combos just enhanced the sushi plate! Everything was so fresh from the salmon to the uni! 10/10 recommend!
Overall a solid omakase experience! The food was fresh and delicious, and the chef’s creativity really stood out in each dish. The fish quality was great, and the cozy seating made the whole meal feel intimate and relaxed. I also love that they run promotions throughout the year so definitely worth following their Instagram or Facebook so you don’t miss out!
There is free parking in the garage. We were late to our omakase appointment due to the rain but they were very understanding. We got a free drink and chose sake and got 15 courses. My absolute favorites were the salmon and tomato and toro and onion sauce. They were phenomenal. For valentine, it was $100 per person so this was an amazing deal for everything we got.
We visited for the 15-course omakase, which was offered at 50% off. The chef was friendly and shared interesting details about each roll, which we really appreciated. Some of the dishes were excellent, while others were a bit too salty for our taste. The venue is beautifully decorated and located inside the hotel, adding to the overall ambiance.
The wife and I came here for lunch to the try the omakase and it was wonderful. Kyo is located in The Drey Hotel. Its small but stunning inside. The sushi is unique and creative. One of my favorite bites was the eel topped with coconut flakes. This place is a must try and we will definitely be back! Pro tip- go for lunch because it can get crowded during dinner.
Great hotel and food! 🍣🍱 Sushi roll was fresh and happy hour drinks were phenomenal. The Omakase style of sitting bar a pleasant experience. Sashimi was really good and Texas Lover sushi roll was absolutely my favorite! Honey beez was wonderful drinks. Overall I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re staying at Drey Hotel!
Highly recommend this in home omakase! The sushi chef and Christine are both super friendly and personable! Very skilled couple! We were served an 18 course sushi dinner and every bite was out of this world! Their flavor combos just enhanced the sushi plate! Everything was so fresh from the salmon to the uni! 10/10 recommend!
